Surname would be Wilkin.

Thoughts please MNers!

Oscar was the first choice but have heard it's becoming quite a popular choice...

Colleague had a son called Otis, I thought it was really original, but it does conjures up thoughts of oatibix... lol

Can't decide if it goes well with Wilkin though....Otis Wilkin?

Prefer Oscar Wilkin.

I like Oscar, I wouldn't have it now because I have an Oliver and I think they sound funny together. I don't like Milo it reminds me of that puppet. Otis...I am not sure on.

Soprry Char, reqests for names denied on grounds of excessive adoration of puppetry

Peachy, on that basis, Oscar is/was the grouch on Sesame Street .

Peachy · 25/03/2009 14:50

Otis is /was manky puppet on kids TV, no!

Oscar is adorable, don't know any here (S E Wales)

Milo is OK,but my Dad has this thing about rhyming names and would immediately name hi Milo The Silo (to go with Sam The Spam and Stirly (Stirling) The Girly . Luckily he'd given up by ds3 / ds4 LOL)

screamingabdab · 25/03/2009 14:50

What about Nigel?

ScorpiowithabigS · 25/03/2009 14:49

I love Milo. What about Otto?

sonniebonnie · 25/03/2009 14:48

Oscar is becoming very popular round here (Surrey), so I probably wouldn't choose it.

Not keen on Milo as I never know how to pronounce it (Meelo or Mylo).

Love Otis - very cool, sophisticated and not still quite unique!
