I'm not keen on any of them names but if had to pick of them I would pick Gregory.

here is a few for you to think of
Ethan,
Lorcan
Stephen
Jaime-Irish for James/Seamus
Jay-Can be short for Jason
Eoin or Owen

These are some lovely names for boys. Hope it helps.

Joycey29 · 12/03/2009 22:01

Monty is really common at the moment - I know 3. I like the classics - Samuel, Edward and Tom.

cece · 12/03/2009 21:54

DH and I have been discussing names and now have two boys names to shortlist

Edward (Ed)
Noel

OP posts:
belgo · 11/03/2009 18:50

Only like Edward and Edgar from your list.

Hulababy · 11/03/2009 18:48

I don't like - Vaughan/Vaughn, Orson, Verne, Gregory, Monty, Mungo, Edgar, Edmund

I like Samuel, but think Edward is definitely the best - shortned to Ned

Other names you could consider (bearing in mind not read rest of thread yet ):
Oliver
Joseph
William
Charles
Fred
Harry
Henry
Thomas

Jojay · 11/03/2009 18:23

Edward - Ed for short

(biased)

changer22 · 11/03/2009 18:21

I love Edgar. It was going to be one of the names of my twin DSs except that I haven't had twin DSs! The other twin would have been Magnus.

I like Edward and Gregory too.

Josiepie · 11/03/2009 18:15

Samuel and Edward - even when they're shortened (Sam,Ed, Ted, Eddy) they're still lovely.

Springhassprung · 11/03/2009 14:43

Really like Hector and Edward.

cece · 10/03/2009 19:17

Thanks for all of the comments.

Looks like we have Edward (Ed) on the short list then! LOL
Possibly Mark and maybe Tom...

Still we have another couple of months yet to think of some other names! LOL In any case it may all be in vain, as it might be a girl.

MadaMoo · 09/03/2009 23:33

On the list not have had them....

MadaMoo · 09/03/2009 23:32

Dare not comment on the others.....

We had:

Ethan
Isaac
Jacob
Joseph
Joshua
Eli
Elijah

MadaMoo · 09/03/2009 23:25

Samuel

jellybeans · 08/03/2009 23:57

Vaughan/Vaughn AWFUL, SORRY
Orson SAME AS ABOVE, SURNAMEY
Verne DISLIKE
Edward BIT BORING
Samuel LOVE IT
Gregory LOVE IT
Monty REALLY DISLIKE, ABIT WEIRD
Mungo REALLY BAD, SORRY
Edgar AS ABOVE
Edmund DISLIKE THIS ONE TOO

Go for Samuel or Gregory, both fab and normal!

nooka · 08/03/2009 22:51

My dad is Marius if you are thinking about Marcus. I like Darius too. Richard is a really nice name that's not used much anymore. We were going to call ds2 Richard Ezra (we liked Ezra but thought it might be difficult to carry off). Have since met a couple of cool Ritchies. Good name for a whizzing around type boy I think. What about Benedict if you like Gregory? or Digby if you like something a bit different.

dizzydixies · 08/03/2009 22:13

me again

have you considered

Arthur nn Art
Walter
Wilfred

pointydog · 08/03/2009 22:07

Ed - fantastic

pointydog · 08/03/2009 22:06

Edward - well, I really like Ed/Eddie

Samule - sam's good

That's it

cece · 08/03/2009 21:52

Not sure about either Julius or Drew - not realy us I think.

Baby Gregory is gorgeous

OP posts:
MsBeauregarde · 08/03/2009 21:45

Cece, what about Julius? Mind you, I have been told before that I should have money for school fees with my taste in names.
