I think it's beautiful but husband says no. Just wondering what other people think of it!

In theory, I like it, but it reminds me of a book I read when I was young called 'Rosina Copper', about a horse. But that's just me, I'm sure.

Well, my name is "Golden Princess" in Irish.
Shame it means "foreskin" in Hebrew, so not popular with people from Israel!

EyeballsintheSky · 28/02/2009 20:18

Lovely.

FairLadyRantALot · 28/02/2009 20:12

indeed Bloss...I am german and it does sound much like Rosine , i.e, raisin...which is probably why I don't like it...

I like it but probably because my friend of this name is a lovely person

bytheLiffey · 28/02/2009 18:35

Is it Italian?

I like Roisin. Quite like Rosalind although I'd never use it. I like Rosabel, if that's a name?!

Rosina sounds strange. Sorry to the poster who's grandma was called rosina.

NorktasticNinja · 28/02/2009 18:33

Raisin is Rozijn in Dutch. I see a theme there bloss...

NorktasticNinja · 28/02/2009 18:32

Beautiful, is there no way you can persuade him? DP vetoed all the rose names here too...

How about Rosalie, Rosalind, Rosalyn/Rosalin, Rosamund or Rosa.

don't like it, sorry...

ScummyMummy · 28/02/2009 18:29

I like Rosetta/Rosette/Rose/Rosie better, I think. Rosina is ok, though.

grouchyoscar · 28/02/2009 18:28

Very lovely.

cece · 28/02/2009 18:27

That was my gran's name. Everyone called her Rosie though.
