I second the vote for Stephanie. Pretty, classic, everyone can spell it, not to common. and lots of ways to shorten it.

I also love Caitlin

tkband3 · 25/02/2009 10:29

Edie
Ava
Eva
Maia (different spelling, so perhaps not such a clash with May...? )
Freya (although quite popular now I know)
Nora
Aida

Rosamund

Francesca (goes well with Lucia, methinks)
Artemisia

Rosalind?

Astrophe · 25/02/2009 08:30

Sorry Rose! I don't dislike it, it just doesn't leap out at me.

RoseOfTheOrient · 25/02/2009 02:04

Astrophe · 25/02/2009 02:02

Astrophe · 25/02/2009 02:01

Its DD's middle name

RoseOfTheOrient · 25/02/2009 01:59

Maya?
unusual, not weird or made up and easy to spell!
Ta da!!

Astrophe · 25/02/2009 01:50

I also like Georgiana but wonder if its too pretentious, and like Grace, but its very well used where we are.

Astrophe · 25/02/2009 01:48

I like Alice and Natalie, but DH doesn't. My DD and DS are Lucia and Elijah - so a bit unusual, and we want something similarly unusual, but not weird or made up or really difficult to spell. I guess 'classic but uncommon' is our criterior, as well as 'pretty' for a DD.

BikeRunSki · 24/02/2009 22:37

Alice

kitty78 · 24/02/2009 22:01

What are your DD and DS's names - perhaps that'll help.

How about:-

Jemima (Mimi)
Nancy
Elizabeth (Lizzie/Nell)

I love Victoria/Tori but is that too twee for you?!
