I think it's so sweet but would it suit an adult? Is it horrendous and am I delusional??

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I think it's quite nice. It does make me think of The Flumps but then I'm quite old and no-one will remember them when your DC is grown up.
Just so long as you don't call any subsequent DC Pootle and Perkin.

Yep - you are right! Oh well, MY Posey would have had an "e" anyway!!

LadyOfWaffle · 23/02/2009 22:56

I am sorry. I do not like it that much. Bit of a drip

Simplysally · 23/02/2009 22:56

I thought Ballet Shoes then but if you like it, why not?

janeite · 23/02/2009 22:55

Oh I may be wrong then Seeker - an "e" is how I remember it but that doesn't mean much these days! It is scary how little I DO seem to remember sometimes!

EyeballsintheSky · 23/02/2009 22:54

Eek. Plaits, rosy cheeks, 10 years old. Not good on an adult I'd say. Sorry.

Lovely for a baby and a little girl - but it fails my "kick-ass lawyer' test, I'm afraid.

I always thought the Ballet Shoes girl was spelled Posy!

janeite · 23/02/2009 22:52

I absolutely love it. I really, really wanted Posey (with an "e" like in "Ballet Shoes") for dd2 but dp was dead set against it. I ended up with a Daisy instead.

Ballet Shoes (book not film natch )

A good name I think, yes.
