Oh I can beat that. We once used to know a family with a Boudicca (and really you should have the Celtic original not the Latinized version if you want to be authentic ) and then they had a son... Caratacus

Hi Alice, yeah I am laughing at her name, not her you understand, I'm sure she is a delightful 6 yr old but I do find pretentious names enliven the gaiety of the day. But come on, do you not think as parents we could maybe curb our desire to be individual and ooo so creative and think for a moment about the life of the child we are naming?? I'm not against wierd and wonderful names but can't I laugh at pretentious parents at all any more?

Why, you're no fun . . .

You are pissing yourself laughing at a child's name?

I think you need a hobby.

I know a little one called this. She actually suits her name especially shortened to Bo. Have also heard it said Bo dee sha and this particular child is the first time I have heard it as Bo da see ah. Definately not the most unusual name around these parts.

It was boh duh see uh. The teacher was asking how to spell it, the poor child was about 6 and she will have that hassle for THE REST OF HER LIFE. Unless she see sense and shortens it to Bo.

Everyone should be called Jane. Keep things simple
