It will sound something like:

Anna Middle name Cauldwell

So far our boy name is Elliot Ian if that provides inspiration?

Hmm, just realised initials would be ABC - is that a problem?

flippineck · 11/02/2009 22:10

Anna Beatrice?

Poppycake · 11/02/2009 22:05

I know an Anna Penelope. She's never been fond of the second!!

If you wanted to get away from the classic Maria, Laura, Claire, then how about Kerensa?

BumblBeee · 11/02/2009 22:03

Wow thanks everyone.

I kind of like Anna Rose, Anna Elizabeth, Anna Francesca

Anna Penelope is interesting?

Re: I would argue that middle names are the perfect opportunity to remember someone.
I have an Anna - her middle names are Victoria and Gillian. They are not my favourite names, but they remind me of the wonderful hospital which saved her life several times and my equally marvellous mum.

What a nice thought

I also like the Eoin spelling for Ian (or Iain)

Anna is a nice name, but cannot think of a middle name that isn't the usual May or Rose

CrushWithEyeliner · 11/02/2009 19:27

Elizabeth
Jane

Clure · 11/02/2009 19:25

Anna is a lovely name. Given your surname I would suggest a middle name with just one syllable would sound nice. Earlier posts said
Grace
May
Rose

I think that Ian is long overdue a revival! Elliot Ian 'Cauldwell' is a good, strong name.

I would argue that middle names are the perfect opportunity to remember someone.
I have an Anna - her middle names are Victoria and Gillian. They are not my favourite names, but they remind me of the wonderful hospital which saved her life several times and my equally marvellous mum.

Middle names are very rarely used in life, but I will smile when they are read out at her graduation etc.

lastboxoftampons · 11/02/2009 17:59

I prefer a longer name for a middle name with a short first name as well:

Anna Maria
Anna Veronica
Anna Francesca
Anna Catherine

There's nothing wrong with Ian - it's a lovely name.

LynetteScavo · 11/02/2009 16:47

Ian isn't that bad!

missmapp · 10/02/2009 19:52

If we had had a girl we liked Anna Mary
