Twin girls names to go with Sophia

Help! I'm expecting twin girls and I am really struggling with names. First and second names please! We already have a Sophia Elizabeth.

As a guide, I'm not keen on twin names with alliteration i.e. Sam & Sue or rhyming names i.e Sam & Pam. We have a complicated surname so classic names are best.

I find girls names so hard!! Although I know what I like and what I don't when I hear it - iykwim! Boys names on the other hand I find a doddle!

I like Ava.

Would it sound odd having three DDs names ending in 'a'? e.g. Sophia, Clara & Ava or Sophia, Louisa & Tabitha?

I like Frances, but DH hates it.

Good point LuLuBai!

Sophia is my older DD, so I need two more names (plus middle names)...

Hi - I know you want to avoid 'twinny' names (so no rhyming or alliteration) but it is worth giving names similar in length and spellability.

I used to work with a woman called Catherine who, in her 50s, still felt aggrieved that it had taken her so much longer to learn to spell her name than her twin Ann.

So to clarify, is Sophia one of the twin's names or your older DD?

Names I would love to use but for various reasons are a no go are: Charlotte, Tessa, Olivia, Kate, Alice, Phoebe and Imogen.

From the above suggestions I've added to my list, Clementine (beautiful!), Gerogia and Louisa.

What middle name would you put with Clementine?

Also on the list so far are: Alexandra, Lucinda, Anna... that's about it.

Boys names we love are George, Magnus, Fredrick, Alexander, Hamish, Felix, Hugo, Theo....
