Twin girls names to go with Sophia

Help! I'm expecting twin girls and I am really struggling with names. First and second names please! We already have a Sophia Elizabeth.

As a guide, I'm not keen on twin names with alliteration i.e. Sam & Sue or rhyming names i.e Sam & Pam. We have a complicated surname so classic names are best.

I find girls names so hard!! Although I know what I like and what I don't when I hear it - iykwim! Boys names on the other hand I find a doddle!

Sophia, Violet & Ava sound good together. what about connie, lara, isabella or freya (i sophia's with siblings of these names!)

Katonahottinroof · 08/02/2009 13:49

My imaginary twin girls would be
Anna Sophia (obv you have one already so)

Anna Grace
and
Claudia Rose

Sophia, Anna and Claudia sound lovely together imo.

Other names

Marianne and Camille

Ava and Lily

Alexandra and Vivienne

Helena and Emilia

Jessica and Violet

Congrats on your twinnies, I'd be in my element picking 2 names! I'm the opposite and find boys names really hard.

Ooops, just read that Sophia is your DD So.... what do you think of : Louisa Goergette and Helena Catherine?

slayerette · 07/02/2009 18:35

Rosaleen?

Ivykaty44 · 07/02/2009 18:28

Clementine - shortened to Clem or Clemmy - just so you are aware, as it is children at school that will use and abuse the name

as they will often be refered together "and anna" is a lot of a's

cherrylips · 07/02/2009 18:26

If I was having twin girls I would have : Sophia Anna and Louisa Elizabeth. I am pg at the mo' and if its a girl I will name her Louisa Isobel.

DivamakesKimchi · 07/02/2009 18:24

Clementine Joelle

Clementine Isla

Clementine Felicity

Maxine
Mathilda
Maude
Penelope
Hazel
Thea

I'm a bit of a fan of 'a' ending girls names. Really love Georgia and Louisa together but that it is a lot of 'a's to go along with Sophia. Shame Phoebe and Imogen are off limits. I also think Florence and Clementine work well together.
