I have gone off the chosen name. No joke. I am truly stuck.

How about Clover or Fluer?

I'm not allowed them, so I'm puching them on other people! Or are you done with Camille?

pgwithnumber3 · 01/02/2009 22:24

Nope, still here and still Camille. Can't think of a middle name though but will have 6 weeks to get that sorted.

well? any news?!?

pgwithnumber3 · 31/01/2009 21:34

Dizzy I am flattered that you think of me when you should be a) looking after your children and b) shagging your DH to conceive Arianna!

Lucy - can't have, friend has it plus it is DB's ex-girlfriend who had the personality of a piece of wet toilet roll.

Tess - nah

Alicia - nah again

Katie - Niece is called this.

So Camille it is! I don't know of any others, its french (good thing) and you like it!

was thinking about this today (am aware how sad I am) and came up with these

Lucy - as mentioned previously goes perfectly with your other DDs

Tess

Alicia

Katie

TheFirstLiffey · 31/01/2009 18:21

Carmella is awful. sounds like an Italian Nun.

Phoenix · 31/01/2009 18:20

I didn't say i liked it I just know one

pgwithnumber3 · 31/01/2009 18:19

I know a baby Carmella. Similar to Camille

pgwithnumber3 · 31/01/2009 18:15

Liffey PMSL!

Camille definitely seems to be winning today. Who knows what tomorrow brings...

nappyaddict · 31/01/2009 15:26

Oh and prefer Amelia to Amelie. Amelie seems to be much more popular ever since MM

nappyaddict · 31/01/2009 15:25

Haha I love all your names except Elissa/Alyssa cos I think they are too common now.

TheFirstLiffey · 31/01/2009 13:20

don't shoot the messenger!

pgwithnumber3 · 31/01/2009 13:17

that link doesn't show anything Liffey!

bogan

sweetkitty · 30/01/2009 21:48

pmsl

pgwithnumber3 · 30/01/2009 21:47

Are you trying to blow my head off sweetkitty?! Never mind a middle name for now, this child needs a first name!

For what its worth, what goes with Camille?

OP posts:
sweetkitty · 30/01/2009 21:39

Middle name?

pgwithnumber3 · 30/01/2009 21:33

Camille is also probably top of the list. It has been our favourite name for years (was second choice for DD1) and I just think it is such a classic name.

Dizzy will be pleased.

Oh dear- I thought you were all set last time with Elissa. (I have a Maia for whom I considered the name Grace and am also expecting no.3 v soon who also has no name as yet!)
For what it's worth, I'm not too mad on Elissa- much prefer Alice.
From your list, I think Claudia is lovely and would definitely go with that if I were you.
I also really love some of the other suggestions and think they go well with your two:

Beatrice/ Beatrix
Phoebe
Violet
Charlotte
Evelyn/Eve
Sofia
Iris
Lucinda

Let us know what you decide!

Phoenix · 30/01/2009 20:39

What about Morgan for a girl? If this baby is a girl she will be Morgan Grace.

sweetkitty · 30/01/2009 20:37

Romilly

beautiful name but didn't go with our surname

pgwithnumber3 · 30/01/2009 20:14

What does bogan mean Liffey?!

Claudia is probably a massive contender atm.

Just don't want the name to be super popular, although I love DD1's name (Grace) I am so fed up of hearing it.

Arianna is definitely out, I have been saying it today and it just sounds like I am launching a ship.

KatB - I love Rowan (more for a boy though) but it doesn't go with our surname - Rowan Owens!

Alice too twee I think.

Alyssa is bogan, totally bogan.

Claudia is gorgeous. ALso like Beatrice as suggested by somebody further up the thread.

Juliet and Annabel are two in the same style bracket as Claudia and Beatrice. Phoebe and Flora are also lovely.

Does the name have really unusual, or just not super popular.

Odette and Arianna are a bit try-hard imo. I agree about Odette being a deep south USA name, has that kind of ohmyGod eye-rolly feel about it; like Latrice or Lettice.
