Hi Everyone,

I am 33 weeks now and getting a little worried about my inability to decide on boys' names.

Please can you help and let me know which sounds the best with our surname Korn

Shortlist is:

Arron Korn
Harry Korn
Hugo Korn

Thanks xx

I like Hugo best from your list. Hugs when he's little, Huge when he's big?

VersdeSociete · 22/01/2009 12:40

Arron Korn is too close to rhyming - too many "r"s and "n"s in close proximity. Longer is better and different consonants good - so Hugo best of your original shortlist...

basementbear · 22/01/2009 12:37

Hugo definitely.
I like all of them actually but Arron will always get spelled wrong, and there are so many Harrys about already

lastboxoftampons · 22/01/2009 12:34

I think Harry is best too. I like BabyBaby's suggestion of Harrison.

BabyBaby123 · 22/01/2009 12:28

I don't like Hugo personally.

Arron is okay but I would like the initials A. Korn....

Harry is okay too - but I would name him Harrison - then you can chose whether to shorten it to Harry or not - personally I wouldn't

why would you want to shorten Hugo?

I suppose when babe in arms you could call him Hugs?

RiaParkinson · 21/01/2009 22:44

hugo

Hailsk · 21/01/2009 22:37

Hehe!! Good reason...I have no idea why DH doesn't like it...he keeps saying Hugo you go!!!
What would I shorten it to?

I heart Hugo

we had 3 DDs but even if we'd had a DS I wasn't allowed to use Hugo by DH as there is a wee country and western singer near to where he grew up with the name Hugo and our surname and DH's dad used to play him in the car all the time and drive him bonkers

it just made me want to use it even more

Hailsk · 21/01/2009 22:30

Wow I am so surprised Hugo is so popular!

ilikeyoursleeves · 21/01/2009 21:46

I like Harrison the best

RachieB · 21/01/2009 21:44

Harrison is the best IMO

WinkyWinkola · 21/01/2009 21:08

Hugo is definitely the best name. It sounds great with Korn.

jellybeans · 21/01/2009 21:02

Harry the best!

Hailsk · 21/01/2009 19:08

Hugo sounds like the favourite, will have to twist DH's arm...his favourite is Arron!
