I know an absolutely gorgeous toddler called Clemmie, she is lovely.
Because of that, I love the name , I confess I wasn't keen when her Mother told me her name when she was newborn, but it suits her so well and this little girl is so lovely that now I love it.

Xavielli · 15/01/2009 08:48

Men don't like Clementine because "Clem" is a well used nickname for a fanjo. - Care of DP.

it s my fave name for a girl at the mo but partner is convinced she d get clems which is slang for balls!!

Astrophe · 14/01/2009 23:44

Hmmm, glad you seem to think Clemmie is ok, as I suspect thats what she'd get.

I'm still not sure, but am working hard to convince DH (what is it with men?) and need to make sure I actually want the name first!

Clem the phlem?

I can rip any name apart, me!

I think Clemmy is OK - not as nice as Clementine, but hey.

LynetteScavo · 14/01/2009 23:38

Why don't men like Clementine?

Tinker · 14/01/2009 23:37

Clammy Clemmy as a nickname?

Aitch · 14/01/2009 23:37

clemmie is lovely, i think. it's a gorgeous name.

Rindercella · 14/01/2009 23:37

Love Clem. DH has vetoed it though if we have another DD

KatB · 14/01/2009 23:36

I liked Clementine when I was preg with dd2 but got laughed at by DH

Clem, Clemmy, Tine, Tina, Menty?... can't think of anymore. I think it's most likely to be Clemmy which has a nice ring to it I think.
