Deep breath......what do you think of these girls' names?

Am having triplets and have a mixture of flavours. Boys' names have been easy to come up with for some reason, girls' names not so much...

Freya
Rosanna
Estella

Too 'girly' or ok? Which (if any) do you like?

like Estella..though slightly prefer Estelle

Eliza?

Fimbo · 12/01/2009 16:27

Wow congratulations!

I know you are not having three girls but a cool combination would be

Hester
Helen
Hilda

serickson · 12/01/2009 16:24

I like them all!

mieowcat · 12/01/2009 16:23

big congratulations to you. I like Rosanna and Estella best, Freya not so keen.
Amelia or Issabella nice 'a' ending pretty names maybe? x

Sidge · 12/01/2009 16:20

Oh triplets, how wonderful!! Congratulations!

Freya is nice, I'm not so keen on Rosanna or Estella but I do like:

Susannah
Esther
Hannah
Fleur
Jessamy
Imogen
Claudia

Elfrida · 12/01/2009 16:17

Love Freya and Estella.

LightShinesInTheDarkness · 12/01/2009 16:14

Mariella?

MrsKing · 12/01/2009 16:11

how about Anna? I want a girls name ending in 'a' but agree that might not be good having all names end the same.

Congrats on triplets!

Bubbaluv · 12/01/2009 15:26

I would go for Rosa or Rosita and Stella.
What about Camilla, Ramona, Rachel...I had the opposite problem to you. Sooo many girls names but no boys names and am having a boy. Now I can't remember the girls names I liked. Baby brain has set in

MrsMattie · 12/01/2009 15:12

Al very nice, but I love Roseanna - gorgeous.

Lionstar · 12/01/2009 15:11

Know a baby Estelle (which I like), but she is always called Ellie - and there are so many of those about.

I like the other names too

ja9 · 12/01/2009 15:08

oh, didn't read op properly - didn't realise you were having triplets! congratulations!

i agree about not having all 3 names ending in same sound...

WindUpBird · 12/01/2009 14:09

Rosanna is lovely, not mad-keen on the other two...

Nancy66 · 12/01/2009 13:53

I prefer Stella and Rose and not keen on Freya - i do think your choices are a tad girlie and twee.

BarbarellaNz · 12/01/2009 12:42

the word I was trying to spell was 'hard' not 'htjuard'!!!

OP posts:
BarbarellaNz · 12/01/2009 12:41

Thanks so much for your views - it is very htjuard to be objective when you have been trying to find any names you both would consider. I haven't got three girls so would only need two of the three.

Thanks also for the congratulations - I am 27 weeks and due to deliver the babies at 34 weeks (if I can hold on that long!). They will be our first (and only) children

GossipMonger · 12/01/2009 12:38

I actually like all of them.

What about though

Fleur
Rosie
Estella

I think there are too many 'a' endings for your names and is a bit of a mouthful when you say them all together.

Nell
Annabel
Imogen
Bea
Romilly

are my current favourites though I am not having anymore and have two boys!

congratulations btw - when did you find out and have you any other children?

MadameCastafiore · 12/01/2009 12:35

I like Freya but not the others.

What about Fleur?

annasmami · 12/01/2009 12:35

Both

ramonaquimby · 12/01/2009 12:35

Estelle is lovely

not keen on all names ending the same, too cutesy whootsy I think

but congrats on triplets, how wonderful! Have just finished reading a book by Jackie Clunes called 'Extreme Motherhood' - about her experiences of having triplets from the first scan to their first birthday. Think she's just got another one out as sequel. True story, was really interesting

annasmami · 12/01/2009 12:35

I like Rosanna and Estelle/a very much. Borth names work well in other languages too.

Not keen on Freya.

Congratulations!

listenglisten · 12/01/2009 12:32

Prefer Estelle to Estella

Also like Freya

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/01/2009 12:31

Like Freya, though was v popular a few years ago.

Indifferent to Rosanna (but love Roxanne which is similar)

Prefer Stella or even Estelle to Estella.

chancelloroftheexCHEQUERS · 12/01/2009 12:30

Oh wow, congratulations!

I love Freya, not keen on the rest.
