Dd2 was almost Megan.

totalmisfit · 26/01/2009 15:52

when they say her full name, i should add.

totalmisfit · 26/01/2009 15:51

well we're very english so we say 'meg-un' but we have a welsh family up the road with another dd of the same name and they actually call her 'Annie' for short, but it's definitely more of an 'un' sound when they talk about/to her.

beanieb · 26/01/2009 15:46

ah but is it Meg-anne or Meg-un?

totalmisfit · 26/01/2009 15:44

all i can say is dd is Megan and we have had nothing but 'ooh that's a lovely name!' since she was born. which is nice

beanieb · 26/01/2009 15:35

ADealingMummy · 25/01/2009 21:36

oh no sorry i think it's Tanwyn

ADealingMummy · 25/01/2009 21:35

Tanwin

melz23 · 24/01/2009 16:56

My middle name is Cariad, after my mother which I understand means 'love' in Welsh and is a term of endearment

FfreckleFfairyOnTopOfTheTree · 04/01/2009 01:12

Little Ff is Ffion, and Girldog is Seren. I loved Morgan and Teagan when we were trying to name the baby, but Bloke said no.

LobstersLass · 04/01/2009 00:44

It's pronounced Alice.

Ribenababy · 04/01/2009 00:41

Really appreciate this ladies! How is Alys pronounced?

maybe it is migolapland but seeing as DD3 is Dylan am probably not the right person to be giving advice on here

llareggub · 03/01/2009 22:53

Another south Walian here.

I have a cousin called Bethan and we've always called her BethUN. Maybe you are saying the same thing only describing it differently?

I was nearly Angharad, which I love. I also like:

Alys
Arianwen
Eleri

migolapland · 03/01/2009 22:52

moondog · 03/01/2009 22:48
