And is alliteration a good thing?

I think Gloria should make a comeback.

skidoodle · 13/12/2008 21:54

LOL @ lulubee

I used to know a girl called Grainne whose Dad used to call her in at night "Groina, Groina"

What about Gulseren?

Grace is the only one I like so far. Sorry.
Has it been explained why the name has to begin with "G"? Seem to have missed it.

I quite like alliterative names. They have a sort of showgirl quality.

Gina?
Georgina?
Georgia?

Gemzooks · 13/12/2008 20:08

Galia
Gulmira
Gulnara
Geraldine
Gisele
Giulia

I think names like Gladys will come back into fashion..

Lulubee · 13/12/2008 19:09

I always liked Grainne written down and was very disappointed when I found out how it was pronounced! It's too similar to 'Groin'!

dinkymum · 13/12/2008 15:16

Georgia
Gemma

Gertrude - or was that the magic roundabout cow?

Gervaise

tootyflooty · 13/12/2008 14:22

My neice is Gabriella, and she is often called Gabby, but that in itself is quite pretty. Or if you used Gabrielle, it would more likely be shortened to Ellie. I have a Thomas, and I have never called him Tom, although his friends do.

tinselroundtherock · 13/12/2008 14:20

Gaynor
Greta

LittleDonkeyCarrieMary · 13/12/2008 14:04

I have a gorgeous Gracie

skidoodle · 13/12/2008 13:51

When we were trying to pick baby names I worked my way through a few letters like this.

It helped to narrow the field rather than having to think about ALL the possible names, which just seemed too daunting.

Silly but helpful IME

dontwanttobejumpedon · 13/12/2008 13:48

Gaia. Grace. I like alliterative names.
