AARRGGHH!Can't decide on ds name...i may just call him "baby".

I'm due in 6 weeks and we just can't decided on a name for ds2.
Ds1 is called Finlay, usually shortened to Fin and we have a Scottish surname.
I like names that can be shortened and am just pulling my hair out.
Sorry to ask but any ideas?
Please.

DS is Dominic, Dom for short.

However, DC2 is due in 10 days time and has no sign of a name...

I had major problems choosing a name for ds. My short list was.......

Lincoln (Link)
Lucien
Henry
Franklin
Elijah
Gabriel (Gabe)
Jude
Leon
Logan
Felix
Rafe
Riley
Fraser
Morgan

Quinn

We ended up calling ds Morgan Elijah but it did take us a few days to come up with that but you do get 6 weeks to register the name so don't worry to much

TBH DH says 'no' to most of these. But I like them.
Nairn is my current fave. (We live in Scotland, but I'm not Scottish).
DH wants either Rhuaridh / Rory or Lachlan I think.

you could just wait and see what he looks like when he comes out - a name might just spring into your head when you look at him! (apart from Baby of course !)

I'm really pissing myself off that i can't decided on a name.
We had no problems choosing ds1 name and it really suits him.
I don't know why we are finding it so hard to choose this time-could be the fact that we used our favourite boys name on ds1 and that we have to choose a name that 'goes' with ds1 and we now know lots of kids so we don't want to copy names no matter how good they are.

My ds is Wilfred(Wilf) I have a lovely friend called Keir so i like that name too!!

DH said no because of carrot top.

pmsl!! I think I wrote something similar last year, we couldn;t agree on a name for DS2, he was a day old before we agreed on one.. Callum
