I know there have been threads about this, but I can't find any for some reason.
At the moment I'm stuck on Stanley, but DH gone off it a bit because my bro was taking the piss about Flat Stanley.
Any ideas would be very gratefully received.

Archibald

Bob (Robert)

Reginald Harold (Reggie) was born 1897. Frederick Charles (doubt he was ever abbreviated - no-one would have dared) was born around 1885. We do long generation intervals in my family!

Edward John was my Dad's Dad (and coincidently my DH's name, too).

My Dad is Theodore, which is quite unusual.

My Dad had a great-uncle Gus, short for Augustus Otto! Love it.

Wilfrid - regret now not having it as a DS name. And David. Ditto

JustKeepSingingCarols · 08/12/2008 17:35

Sidney & Noel

DH - Clifford & Hedley ()

Mine - Harry
DH - Arthur William

We gave DS4 William as his middle name.

Love old fashioned boys names - they are so solid and manly.

Maldwyn's a great name! I know one other apart from my grandad. Was on my list of names for DD if she had been a boy, but DH vetoed...
