I know there have been threads about this, but I can't find any for some reason.
At the moment I'm stuck on Stanley, but DH gone off it a bit because my bro was taking the piss about Flat Stanley.
Any ideas would be very gratefully received.

Donald Marshall (aka 'Tony' because he looked Italian- how PC!!!)

Charles. As was my Dad and it's DS's middle name.

Out of fairness DD has my Gran's name as her middle name (Elizabeth) but I know you didn't ask for that so I don't know why I felt the need to tell you

merryandmad · 07/12/2008 08:33

Harold Benjamin
Cordon Auben (later changed to Gordon as everyone thought he had said Gordon anyhow)

mickeylou · 07/12/2008 08:23

mine were Robert (Bob) and James Clifford. he was always called Clifford. Think there was need for a saints name as the christian name and then people called them by their second names. seems to have been the same with my mum's gran and great aunties. she is forever saying by gran was really mary but got called polly.

DH's were John and Harry. i am wanting this bean to be Harry if a boy.
