Baby sister for Xavier

Help please I need some inspiration for girls' names. Her middle name will be Rosemary for my Gran and the first name can't end in an "e" sound due to our surname. Any ideas?

I loved Abeja Maya too. It wouldn't put me off calling a DD Maya.

If you like Mia, how about Maya? Works much better in Spanish (if you can forget the children's TV programme about Abeja Maya)

Are you very Catholic, in which case Francesca would be great because of St Francis Xavier.

triana is considered a bit "cani" (chav i suppose would be the translation), certainly in seville.
macarena's very popular though, or used to be.

Ha ha - I love that belgo but it always makes me think 'Mighty'.

Marisa is often though to be a shortening of Maria Luisa.

I don't think Mia sounds at all rude in Spanish. A bit posessive perhaps...!

How about Ramona. Works well with Xavier.

Today I am loving Ainoha and Mireia but I don't think they translate into English all that well.

but you would pronounce them differently....

se mea encima would be say may-ah ensima
and la goma es mia you'd say la goma es mee-ah, so no rudeness at all. Think the problem would just be Spaniards would think you were a bit weird calling your child "mine".

Sorry you haven't had any ideas.

Came across this name that I'd forgotten about....
