I like Elisabeth, but not Robyn.

MrsKing · 24/11/2008 20:23

My DD's middle name is Robin after her Dad! Must admit prefer the name for a girl and definitely with an 'i'.

lemonadesparkle · 20/11/2008 10:07

I love the name(s) infact had ds2 been a dd we had agreed on something extremely similar (but Robin with an i) Am disappointed there will be no more dcs for us so that I get the chance to use the name

I know a female Robin; like it.
Robyn Elizabeth seems ok.

nooka · 20/11/2008 00:07

I think Robin Elizabeth looks much nicer. The "y" looks ugly somehow to me.

LaDiDaDi · 20/11/2008 00:00

Lovely name imo.

Peridot30 · 19/11/2008 23:58

IM not 100% on the Robyn name but Robyn elizabeth sounds lovely together.

BlackEyedDog · 19/11/2008 23:52

I like Robyn very much. Wouldn't put it with Elizabeth though.

asdmumandteacher · 19/11/2008 23:50

I like Robyn

Nice

ScummyMummy · 19/11/2008 23:47

don't like the y spelling of robin- nice with an i though. Elizabeth is a good name too.

seeker · 19/11/2008 23:41

Yes - but why not Robin Elizabeth?

Plonker · 19/11/2008 23:32

I love Elizabeth but I don't really like Robyn.

girlandboy · 19/11/2008 20:58

I know 2 little Robyn's.

I like the name. Also like Elizabeth!

Good choice

Thumbs up.

thisisyesterday · 19/11/2008 20:56

SilentTerror · 19/11/2008 20:54

Love Elizabeth.Have a DD called that.

Sidge · 19/11/2008 20:50

I love Elizabeth but really don't like Robyn. (Or Robin).

RachieB · 19/11/2008 20:48

I know of a female Robyn and male Robin ,both in their teens now

I quite like Robyn, but dont like it with Elizabeth for some reason!

Nancy66 · 18/11/2008 16:02

I love Elizabeth but don't like Robyn - either the masculine or feminine version. I'm not a fan of unisex names.

belgo · 18/11/2008 13:17

I've known two female Robins.

Tee2072 · 18/11/2008 13:16

I know several female Robyns in the UK. So it is used. (and I am not counting myself as I am from the US).

Botbot · 18/11/2008 13:10

I know two Robyns in the UK, one my age and one little one.

georgiemum · 18/11/2008 13:07

Robin/Robyn nor used for girls in the UK. I have a brother called Robin and he absolutely hates it at Christmas.

ForeverOptimistic · 18/11/2008 12:52

I like Elizabeth but not so keen on Robyn for a girl. Very popular in the states.

CountessDracula · 18/11/2008 12:51

I have an Aussie cousin called Robyn
I don't like it much tbh
