Hi all i'm 17 weeks pregnant with my 4th baby i have 3 boys already i have a scan tomorrow and hopefully will find out the sex of the baby but untill i'm certain i would like opinions on my 2 choices for girls name!
Maisy or imogen
1 of them i have chosen and the other my DH has!
Maisy has been a strong contender in all 3 of my pregnancy but have never had chance to use it!Thanks all

Both are lovely. Don't worry about people saying Maisy isn't an adults name - it will be by the time your dd is an adult (if you are having a dd that is).

Love Imongen. Can't quite get past Maisy being the book character, although it is a very pretty name.

treacletart · 17/11/2008 18:57

I have an Imogen - shortened to Mimi. Imogen is definitely getting much more popular - doesn't bother me in the least, but I've met quite a few recently!

mickeylou · 17/11/2008 18:53

Maisy gets my vote, especially if its stayed a favourite throughout your 3 other pregnancies. hope your scan went well. x

Does this mean you are having a girl? Or not yet had scan? Sometime today? Good luck.

dizzydixies · 17/11/2008 09:47

congratulations and good luck with number 4

Imogen in my opinion is lovely and more suited to an adult

Maisy reminds me of the mouse, but at least you'd get loads of stuff with her name on it!! I'd be more inclined to use a more grown up name and have Maisy as an everyday NN iyswim?

Thanks dinkymum

Both lovely but have a real safe spot for Maisy!
Good luck for tomorrow, hope all goes well!

artichokes · 16/11/2008 21:18

imogen

ButterflyBessie · 16/11/2008 21:18

Imo deffo

NotanOtterOHappyDay · 16/11/2008 21:18

imogen

lilolilmanchester · 16/11/2008 21:18

I like them both for a little girl, but think Imogen is stronger for an adult. So on balance would get my vote.

janeite · 16/11/2008 21:18

Both are nice but personally I much prefer Maisy. However, you may get mouse comments; not that you should let that bother you.
