DH and I are having a nightmare - we are rubbish at deciding on a name as we are both very fussy. Please make suggestions for boys names - I don't want anything common (i.e he will be one of 3 in his class)

I will apologise in advance for dismissing most of them, we've already had a gazillion suggestions but I am hoping one of you can hit the jackpot! There is a photo of him in my profile if that helps.

Thanks

He's sooooooooo gorgeous!!! I want another one......no.........yes........NO I mustn't!!!!!! My first name I thought he looked like was Oliver but I also liked the suggestion of Aden or Max. Morgan? Or is that a bit girly?

Neeerly3 · 13/11/2008 14:39

tick tock, tick tock......

and our survey says????????

FlirtyThirty · 13/11/2008 14:37

Sorry..not a fan of Ned at all....though do like Edward.

Looking at him and liking...
Alexander
Joel
Arthur
Daniel
Cameron

miamla · 13/11/2008 13:57

sorry if these have already been suggested but I couldn't face reading 7 pages!
After looking at his photo I vote for either Arthur or Douglas

And i love your nursery! Pleased to see someone else has gone for a bold, non-pastel theme!

midnightexpress · 13/11/2008 13:52

Sorley - lovely Scottish name (I'm sure there's a Gaelic spelling of it too, but I don't know what it is)
Also like:
Raphael
Zak could also be short for Isaac, which I like too.
Gabriel
Finlay

Buda · 13/11/2008 13:52

He's lovely! I was going to suggest Terence as it popped into my head - had forgotten the chocorange!

(Hi to Epsom btw - we have a house in Ewell!)

girliefriend · 13/11/2008 13:41

alfie
freddie
samuel
reuben
albert (albie)
george - this is a classic and will never go out of fashion!

Sorry not read all threads if these names have already been offered! Let us know what you decide!
He is gorgeous!!! Xx

kkey21 · 13/11/2008 13:41

By the way he is a cutie and i am 'bump jealous' now why didn't mine look like yours! My little lad is Leo George if you would like to share! x

Bienchen · 13/11/2008 13:40

George?

Oscar?

kkey21 · 13/11/2008 13:40

James Harrison

sorkycake · 13/11/2008 13:35

He looks like an Alexander to me.

rempy · 13/11/2008 13:33

What about Mark? Luke? John? Spotted the theme yet?

ChocOrange05 · 13/11/2008 13:31

And he wasn't lying Ned

Bugger - I had almost convinced DH of Ned when his friend called and said apparently Ned in Scotland is a term used for pikeys and stands for Non Educated Delinquents?!?! WTF....

Sorry, hope I haven't offended anyone who has it, I still like it but can I use it now??

ChocOrange05 · 13/11/2008 13:26

I can't believe it took almost 150 posts for someone to suggest Terry . No can do though as its my uncle's name. Harrison might be middle name as my mum's maiden name is Harris but don't want it as a first name (lots of Harry's about).

I am liking the old fashioned English names...

OP posts:
ihearthuckabees · 13/11/2008 13:17

If I had another son he'd be either:

Christian (even though I'm not IYKWIM)
Gil
Stevie
or
Ralph

(I know a Harrison and a Lorcan, lots of Robbies, way too many Euans, Callums, James's and Daniels).

No-one has mentioned these old-fashioned names:

Norman
Ebenezer

MarkStretch · 13/11/2008 12:46

Yeah I think it's a cool name.

There's lots of boys called Harrison and that's a surname too.

FairLadyRantALot · 13/11/2008 12:43

Smith stretchmark...Smith as a firstname????

but lol at Terry/chocorange...

MarkStretch · 13/11/2008 12:31

Flynn?

Smith?

Terry- ChocOrange, geddit?

ChocOrange05 · 13/11/2008 12:29

Skyblu DH is Christopher so good name suggestion but already in use!

OP posts:
sweetkitty · 13/11/2008 12:19

I think he still looks like a Nathan or a Zack.

Dying to know what you decide now?

bevlongy · 13/11/2008 11:56

How about Angus, Archie, Cameron, Callum??

I'm intrigued now... hope you have it sorted soon!

skyblu · 13/11/2008 11:37

ahem..that should be gorgeous! & Congratulations! by the way

skyblu · 13/11/2008 11:36

I think he looks like a name starting with K or C - quite strong at the begining....(if that makes sense?!)

Kyle
Kian
Christopher
Cameron

He's gorgeuos by the way, congratulation!!
