Loads of names. What do you like, hate and why?

Abraham, Amos, Cornelius, Eli, Eliah, Elijah, Elias, Ezra, Gideon, Ira, Jesse, Jonas, Levi, Seth, Silas, Simeon, Solomon, Thaddeus and Zebedee

Though please don't be too harsh I dont like to insult peoples choices

Amos, Jonas, silas, simeon- maybe
Cornelius, Zebedee Huge NO

Eli, Eliah, Elijah, Elias, Ezra, Ira, Thaddeus, Levi, seth -Love them all

They are all very religious - are you?

And please be careful of boys names ending with a - people who don't know may well mistake them for girls names.

And please, please not Jesse. I know it's lovely, and Jesse James was incredibly manly - but it's sadly just not a name you can give a boy nowadays. It's just asking for trouble!

Yeah I wondered that Anna. Ezra 'jus' cuz I like it' makes me feel just a teensy tiny bit ahem.

Personally, I wouldn't go there.

I love Seth and really love Thaddeus (shortened to Thad).

I'm not keen on Cornelius but do like the shortened version Con for some reason.

Not really keen on any of the others although Elijah would grow on me.

The names you like are very different to the type of names I go for and like so not many of them are to my taste...however, I quite like Seth.

Are you Jewish? Because there are an awful lot of very Jewish names in that lot.

Like Amos (was on our long list but we disregarded it due to it's meaning)

Other biblical names I prefer that are not mentioned are

Tobias
Ethan
Judah
Gabriel

Love Elias (maybe with the nn Eli). Also love Seth.

Hate Amos and Gideon (that is George Osborne's real name but he pretends it is not in case it hampers his poltical career).

I dislike most of them tbh, sorry. Gideon is quite sweet and I once taught a nice Simeon, so don't mind that one.

I have a Seth so that one is my fave.
Elias and Jonas were on our long list for DS2 and DH liked Jesse but in the end we went for something else biblical not on your list!

I think the ones I dislike are Cornelius, Gideon, Simeon and Zebedee.

Cornelius - ok but nn corny?
Eli - a feminine sound imo
Eliah - ?
Elijah - no. Just don't like
Elias - no.
Ezra - no.
Gideon - I like this one.
Ira - no makes me think of the IRA.
Jesse - no.
Jonas - no.
Levi - no. Too want to be trendy or something
Seth - ok, but prefer saul
Silas - no, too unusual and reminds me of silage
Simeon - ok, quite like, but reminds me of simean like monkey.
Solomon - ok, but still, NO.
Thaddeus - yes love this one.
Zebedee - too fcukngi ridiculous sorry. I know a woman with a zebedee and a montana, and the eye-rolling that goes on behind her back...

Thaddeus, Gideon, Simeon in that order.

Or, Seth but preferably Saul.
