I like this, its still not something that 'hits me' like my sons name did, but Im resigned to the fact that just isn't going to happen with my daughter

Two of my friends have daughters who's names are Eva and Ava. I like them both!

My friend just had a baby called Ava Lily - very sweet. I have not heard of any babies being called Ava until her.

Ava is lovely and I really don't get why people say certain names are too popular.

Surely all that matters is wether you like the name or not.

I have a very common name, and my 3 dc all have fairly common names, but I picked them because i like them so it doesn't bother me.

All nice names are popular though. Ive given up on trying to find something 'different'
