Freya and Caden

These are the two names I'm thinking of:

Freya Anne for a girl (Anne after my late aunt)

and

Caden for a boy - not sure how to spell it yet though (Kayden, Caiden....).

Not sure of a middle name to go with it though.

any thoughts?

Anyone know a Caden?

Freay nice...Cayden, moving swiftly along...I love Noah for a boy, so sweet. Isaac too.. Christopher, Oliver though not so Biblical.

BabyBaby123 · 29/10/2008 19:20

that's slightly better LuLuBai!!

LuLuBai · 29/10/2008 19:13

Lovely - how about Brian and Ryan for the next set of twins.

BabyBaby123 · 29/10/2008 18:44

aj13 - you would have had Jayden and Kayden for twins??

(or am I misreading that?! - hoping so...)

sp74 · 29/10/2008 17:28

caden's nice my sons braden
and we are not chavs!!

RainbowChaser · 29/10/2008 17:10

Sorry but Caden (however spelt) and Jaden = very chav.

LuLuBai · 29/10/2008 17:09

It's just that 'ayden' sound. I think it will date. It's the noughties version of the 70s 'aron' sound (e.g. Darren, Aaron, Sharon, Karen)

purpleduck · 29/10/2008 17:05

My friends little boy is called Kaeden

She is not a chav

He is a very cute LO

LuLuBai · 29/10/2008 16:56

Freya's OK. Been around for ever (I went to school with one). I really struggle with Caden and I do agree that Caleb is much, much better.

I actually liked kayden (only 1!!!lol)
I think I only liked it as my first boy choice will be Jayden and as twins run in the family I would have had these to boy names together but its clearly not liked!!!

How about Reece. I always wanted that name but cant now as best friends boy called Reece.

gauly · 26/10/2008 21:31

Samuel goes with your other names I think.

Liffey · 26/10/2008 19:57

Tiff Needham from fth gear or whatever it's called is a man I guess.

Don't like his name though.

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 26/10/2008 16:23

tiff from christopher? are you for real? imagine calling your son tiff...it's a girl's name, short for tiffany!

zeee · 26/10/2008 13:10

Caleb is lovely - similar to Caden, very cool I think, and also Biblical so goes well with Jacob, Daniel and Joseph.

Nancy66 · 26/10/2008 12:36

Another poster that thinks Caden is super chavvy. Freya is ok though.

For the record I also think Ethan is a bit pikey too...

surprisenumber3 · 26/10/2008 11:27

I don't actually know a Freya, and had never heard of Caden until I searched baby names so I had no idea it was chavvy!

Round here we have loads of Holly's, Lily's, Megan's, Jessica's, Ellie's and Olivias. And boys are mainly Thomas, Connor, Kieran Harrison and Tyler.

how about noah is you are after a binle name?

it is my all time fave name but i have 2 girls so could not use it!

kerryk · 26/10/2008 11:13

sorry no idea what happened to my spelling there!

kerryk · 26/10/2008 11:12

not keen on either.

freya is nice but to popular at the moment.

caden/kayden tome sounf=ds like the mum is trying to hard to be cool.

i find it qiote unusual that one person would pick these particular 2 names.

i is quite posh and the other a bit chavvy.
