Don't listen to anyone here (even me and even when I agree that Connie as a nickname is dreadful). Pick the name that you like best.

Love it - esp. Connie. It was my grandmother's name and her mother's too. Am trying to persuade dh into it if dc2 is a girl but no luck so far....

I like Connie, but Constance is yuck. Too harsh. But certainly very middle-class. Nobody would ever think you had a wide-screen tv.
