Lovely.

electra · 01/11/2008 13:22

I like it - would definitely consider it for a girl.

constancereader · 01/11/2008 13:03

obviously a brilliant name

jojo2008 · 01/11/2008 13:01

I really like constance and am definitely thinking of having it. I am especially spurred on by the fact that it hasn't appeared in the top 100 girls names list for the past few years so not everyone will be called it when she starts school.

lunamoon2 · 19/10/2008 00:28

I like it
It "suites" your other names

frazzledoldbag34 · 15/10/2008 19:08

My only concern is that it is quite a mouthful for a child to say. Unless you abbreviate to Connie (which I don't think you should) - [wags finger in bossy manner]

LaDiDaDi · 15/10/2008 19:08

I think it's lovely and also goes very well with Edward and Arthur.

frazzledoldbag34 · 15/10/2008 19:07

I quite like it and is 'goes' with your 2 boys lovely names. Out of interest though, what else do you have on your girls list.......any alternative options?

LouMacca · 15/10/2008 18:45

Yes lovely! Love Connie too!

Walter still in the pot?

donnie · 15/10/2008 18:42

I like it and I also like Connie.

brimfull · 15/10/2008 18:41

don't like it

janeite · 15/10/2008 18:33

Lovely; it really fits with the other names too.

Horton · 15/10/2008 18:22

I really like it. Lovely name and goes well with the others (and I have a wide-screen telly, but am middle class).

MortBlackCatResident · 15/10/2008 18:11

Love It!

sept99 · 15/10/2008 18:09

Edward, Arthur and Constance is a lovely combination.

loobylu3 · 15/10/2008 18:08

Love Constance (and Arthur and Edward too)!

seeker · 15/10/2008 16:31

I LOVE Constance! Would have had it but is sounded awful with one of the last name combinations she might choose to use in the future!

Lovage · 15/10/2008 16:29

I like the name but it does make me think of Constance Spry - The Constance Spry Cookery Book. Which isn't a bad thing, just slightly offputting

bossykate · 15/10/2008 15:59

but what if she turns out fickle and flighty?

dibdabscribble · 15/10/2008 15:57

I love Connie and Constance!

Neeerly3 · 15/10/2008 15:14

Puppy, lets hope its a girl then! I get Constance and you get Knobmella, everyone happy!

Neeerly3 · 15/10/2008 15:13

madbad - oh i agree, but sometimes the responses make you aware of something blindingly obvious, like a dreadful nickname, that you in your prenancy haze had not spotted, and so can eliminate from that ever growing list at the back of your diary!

OP posts:
PuppyMonkey · 15/10/2008 15:12

Constance is MUCH better than Walter, Neerly, but not as good as Knob ...

Neeerly3 · 15/10/2008 15:10

none of my choices have gone via DH yet - will leave to last minute and spring it on him!

MrsJamin · 15/10/2008 15:10
