well I am going to confuse you even more - I love Mirissa and James! Any thought on middle names????? Remind me again what DS1 is called......

LackaDAISYcal · 15/10/2008 12:47

true dragon...I have a pretty common name but have to spell it out all the time!

Majeika · 15/10/2008 12:34

There are too many 'M's for my liking

TaMsin
JaMes
Marco
Mirissa

and then

EMManuel

Are those 4 names the definite ones?

Prefer James and Mirissa as opposed to Marco and Mirissa.

I think having to spell the name constantly is a red herring - you often have to do this even with Jayne/Jane.

LackaDAISYcal · 15/10/2008 12:26

I'd second Tamsin and Marco as well, just to be awkward!

both sound very exotic and are lovely with your surname MerryM

Mirissa is lovely too, but agree the lifetime of correcting the spelling could get tedious for her as most people would assume it was spelled Marissa.

I'm not sure I like the M&M thing either and if I had twins would try and give them distinctive names iyswim.

and hats off to you; we are finding it hard enough to come up with one name we both like, let alone four!!

missygoo · 15/10/2008 12:26

I know a Mirissa named after the same beach, cos her parents survived the tsunami.
i don't think she gets too much bother with melissa confusion, but could be wrong.

Hmm I can see the point with the M&M thing, but I like them both, they have a nice ring to them

Mirissa and Marco
Marco and Mirissa

Sorry, I haven't helped!

MaryMungo · 15/10/2008 12:14

I have to say I prefer Mirissa and James. I remember your other thread and really like the nickname Miri, think it'll avoid any misspelling problems. Not keen on Marco (Polo)- always preferred Marcus.

MerryMarigold · 15/10/2008 12:11

Emmanuel is surname

No middle names yet! Cross that bridge when got first ones

Tamsin and Marco, just to be awkward!

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 15/10/2008 11:58

I don't like the 2 M names paired together. Kind of twee.

FimboGotAxed · 15/10/2008 11:58

M & M

Although I also like Mirissa and James
