After an afternoon stuck in hospital DH and I finally had time to do some serious name chat.

The result is that DD2 will either be:
Hester, known as Hetty.
Alexandra, known as Alex.

Which do people prefer?

Alexandra can also be shortened to Lexi.
Not sure about Hetty

love both, Hetty poss more.

I really like both but have a leaning towards Hetty/ie - it was on our shortlist for a girl. It's a sweet little name, and Hester could be a QC or a film star.

BabyBaby123 · 10/10/2008 19:21

out of the two I'd say Alexandra but only really like Alex
