Mungo keeps being brought up when we discuss names. Dh is not sure but I think it's a cool name which works well for both a young boy and an adult.
I'm hoping to convince dh. So what do you think?

I taught a lovely boy called Mungo. Despite his loveliness i could not warm to his name...

The patron saint of single mothers somebody told me. Very cool. But I'm not posh enough and I'm not Scottish enough, so you can have it. [waves and bows graciously]

I love it. It's a good name if you're Scottish or very posh, otherwise it will be forever associated with a dog living in a tower block.

Not for me I'm afraid -it takes me back to Mary, Mungo and Midge.

On a par with Bunty for me.

I like it very much - classic, strong and masculine sounding!

Not for me - reminds me of one of the cats in Cats (Mungo Jerry). Are you Scottish?
