I'm having real trouble deciding. Which do you think and why? saying nooooooo isn't exactly helpful

I really like the name Caroline- very New England. I think it will make a come back.

funkydude · 06/10/2008 17:35

Another vote for Verity Ann. Be careful with initials though, you don't want a VAG or a VAN or anything like that.

loisandluce · 06/10/2008 16:58

I'm with PnderingThoughts. Verity Ann has a great 'ring' about it - poetic almost. Definitely sophisticated. Caroline Verity sounds a bit more clunky IMHO.

AbbeyA · 06/10/2008 16:38

I love both names. However I think Caroline Verity is a bit of a mouthful and so I would say Verity Ann which runs well together.
A lot depends on your surname-if it was very short you could have the mouthful one.

jeanjeannie · 06/10/2008 16:23

Verity Ann. Lovely name. My DD2 is Verity - so I would say that !

Mammina · 06/10/2008 14:47

Verity Ann

PonderingThoughts · 06/10/2008 13:59

I give my vote to Verity Ann

Pretty & sophisticated

IMO

Moogatron · 06/10/2008 13:57

Carline Verity sounds gorgeous. although I di like Ann too. All the Anns I know are great people! All the Veritys I know are a little brittle and the Carolines, lots of fun!

EffiePerine · 06/10/2008 13:50

wasn't she a character in teh Chalet School?

(not a nasty one, I assure you)

wilkos · 06/10/2008 13:50

my sis is caroline and i love it but i still think verity ann is prettier

Fimbo · 06/10/2008 13:49

Verity Anne (ast 2Pumpkins!)

Or how about Verity Caroline?

EffiePerine · 06/10/2008 13:49

Verity Anne would be lovely

I like Caroline as well, but Caroline Verity is a bit of a mouthful

TwoPumpkins · 06/10/2008 13:48

Verity Anne

dinkymum · 05/10/2008 23:33

definitely Verity Anne

combustiblelemon · 05/10/2008 20:51

Verity Ann. Or Carolina (pronounced Carol- eena) Verity.

Liffey · 05/10/2008 20:48

Yes, Queen Anne had a e.

Jackstini · 05/10/2008 20:47

But have Anne with an 'e' - much prettier imo

belgo · 05/10/2008 20:46

Another vote for Verity.

Szyslak · 05/10/2008 20:46

I love Caroline. Think it is very classic and classy.

Verity is fine.

Don't get too hung up on first name and flowing middle name, you hardly ever get to say them together, it really doesn't matter.

My advice would be choose which ever name you like best as a first name and then personally, I go for a middle name with significance, more imporant to me than sound or flowing.

Just imo.

Mylittlebubble · 05/10/2008 20:45

Love Verity x

I like Felicity too which is simular

raindropsonroses · 05/10/2008 20:41

Chandra and Nooka, they both go well with the surname. OH likes them both and is leaving it up to me

Verity Ann

janeite · 05/10/2008 20:38

Verity Ann - don't like Caroline as it sounds dated without being old fashioned enough to be cute again, if that makes sense. Besides, Verity is so pretty; it would be wasted as a middle name.

bythepowerofgreyskull · 05/10/2008 20:38

Verity Ann is lovely but better if you have a 2 syllable surname.

NogginOfRum · 05/10/2008 20:37

Love Verity Ann; it flows really well. Cute.

Caroline Verity sounds too slow when said, if you get what i mean. I think because they both have 3 syllables.
