5 days old and still nameless....

She's having Rose as a middle name after my mum, but still not sure about first names.

I'm veering towards Claudia (Claw-dia, rather than cloud-ia)

Her dad likes Sophia better

I had Eve, Miranda and Lydia as possibilities, but still not really feeling keen on any. Dd1 is Isabella so something to go with that.

Any other ideas?????

lol, Cordelia was the loveable, true, virtuous one in the play

its also Latin meaning 'heart' which I think is lovely
celtic meaning 'of the sea'
welsh for 'jewel of the sea'
irish for strong willed, wise and high desire (lordy help us )

I really like Cordelia too, when I mentioned to my mum that it it had nearly been DDs name she said "ooh, that would have been unfortunate". No idea why. What did your sister say?

TBH Claudia Rose is beautiful and lovely with Isabella too, why not just go for it?

Louisa Rose sounds a bit odd though

I think Sophia is just too trendy these days. Especially with Isabella.

I like Eve, but not sure how it goes with Rose. What about Eden Rose?

Lydia is pretty and so is Miranda.

I also like Maya Rose.

I would go for Claudia or Lydia. I have an Isabella, Susannah and Philippa (I like "a" names too ). Congratulations btw!

Oh, I really like Melissa Rose but can see Smelly Melly (not good)
and Olivia Rose (popeye connotations)
so, how about Emily Rose (or does that sound like a ship or a scary book)?

I'd forgotten how hard choosing a name is good luck and - let us know.
