middle name to go with Eve

Had a little girl 3 days ago, still no name!!

Already have a little girl called Iris who is almost 2 but just can't get a name we love this time.

Liking Eve at the moment but before we had her we'd kind of agreed on Nora. DP not keen on Nora now. My problem is that i want to be sure its the right one and i'm not just making a decision based on my hormones and also i need a middle name that flows well.

Nora would have been Nora Joan (joan after my lovely gran who died in april) but i can't get a middle name to sound right with eve.

Need one middle name as both my other kids have one and want to keep them all the same!

Any suggestions??

my DD is Emmy which we chose as it is fairly simple but different as well. So far have only come across two other Emmy's in the last decade !

BabyBaby123 · 22/09/2008 14:55

Eve Annabel
Eve Jessica
Eve Katherine
Eve Victoria

depend on second name I think but anything longish should go fine!

rek21 · 22/09/2008 12:47

My DD is Eve Oriel. We loved Xanthe too.

sammybeth · 22/09/2008 12:15

Let us know when you have decided

sammybeth · 22/09/2008 12:13

Instead of Eve have Evie which would go with Joan as a middle name. I really like that Evie Joan.

singyswife · 22/09/2008 12:09

What about Lilly?? Lilly Joan is lovely and it goes with your other dd's name.

debzmb62 · 21/09/2008 22:04

never heard of that name !i love the name megan
megan eve
eve megan ! i love the idea megan can be shorted to meg

minkersmum · 21/09/2008 21:33

did you pick??????? do tell.

Majeika · 21/09/2008 14:14

Evangeline Joan is really pretty. Eve for short.

Weegiemum · 21/09/2008 14:10

Could you use Evelyn or Eveline or Evaline or Evalina and shorten to Eve?

Then middle name would be easier?

Bicnod · 21/09/2008 11:26

A girl at school was Eve Marie (hyphenated I think, but she was just known as Eve). I think Eve Marie is quite pretty...

mytetherisending · 21/09/2008 11:09

Or Eva?

mytetherisending · 21/09/2008 11:07

How about Evie as opposed to Eve? That would make it easier to fit a middle name? Evie Joan goes fine.

pointydog · 21/09/2008 10:49

Eve Elizabeth is nice

so is Eve Marina

TwoMore · 21/09/2008 10:33

Eve Elizabeth Joan
Eve Adelaide Joan
Eve Henrietta Joan

singyswife · 21/09/2008 09:02

What did you go with (assuming dd has name now).

geordieminx · 21/09/2008 08:47

Eve Elizabeth

BGD - you were a bit late with that one - look at my 21.48 post

BigGitDad · 21/09/2008 00:03

Ning sounds good

solo · 20/09/2008 23:59

Ha! Plonker! I was just about to suggest Evelyn Joan too...shortened to Eve for everyday use. I have a cousin Evelyn Joy and she shortens it to Eve. I think it's lovely.

Congratulations minkersmum.

gigglewitch · 20/09/2008 23:52

Lucia
Marina

Plonker · 20/09/2008 23:50

Do you like Evelyn?

You could use Eve as nn

Evelyn works lovely with Nora or Joan or both
Evelyn Nora
Evelyn Joan
Evelyn Nora Joan

Remotew · 20/09/2008 22:41

Eve Nora Joan. That rolls of the tongue nicely. Call her that.
