Kitty - Love, but feel it needs a longer name like Katherine or something/
Martha - Nice. I like this name.
Verity - Its okay. I did like it, but not so much any more.
Lyra - No. Sorry, not keen on this one.
Helena - yes. Love this name.
Molly - Its okay
Eliza - prefer Elizabeth
Celeste - No, sorry
Pippa - yes - I quite like Philippa, shortened to Pippa.
Rita - no. Sorry.
Ellen - Its okay

My sis was going to call her dd Phillipa - that's what she registered on the birth certificate. But her other kids kept calling the baby Flipper... so she changed to Emily.

Lyra - Don't like because it makes me think of tights.
Helena - Very nice
Molly - Like
Eliza - Very nice
Celeste - Too French although I am not averse to using foreign names, I prefer Cecily which has the same sort of sound to it.
Pippa - Quite like.
Rita - Too many Fifty somethings with this name.
Ellen - Don't like. Ellie and Ella are prettier.

Martha, Helena & Eliza are my favourites.

Celeste - I really like it, would have had it for DD, except it sort of reminded me of incest. Sorry.

Rita - OK, it was my g'mas name, but I wouldn't give it to my DD.

Kitty (but only if you put Catherine on the birth certificate, as Kitty to me is a name only for a baby)

Pippa (ditto with Philippa. I just can't imagine the Rt Hon Pippa, Foreign Secretary)

Might vary a bit depending on surname (e.g. I really like Celeste but it doesn't go with my dh's surname - would just sound ridiculous!).

Ok, here is my opinion:

Kitty - lovely. love it as a nn for Katherine too.
Martha - really don't like this.
Verity - don't like at all.
Lyra - looks too much like lycra.
Helena - pretty.
Molly - very cute.
Eliza - its ok. love Elizabeth.
Celeste - its ok.
Pippa - cute.
Rita - awful.
Ellen - lovely.

My favourites from your list are Kitty, Molly and Helena/Ellen.

My least favourites are Rita, Verity, Lyra and Marth.

Don't like Verity - too Head Girlish. A bit iffy about Celeste, Pippa and Rita. Like all the rest but Helena would be No1. Martha No2.
