Really wanted Mary - but we're having a boy! What do you think of Jack?

Delighted to be having another boy, but a bit stuck for names. We have a Tom William already. I know there was a plethora of Jacks a few years back.... what do you think?

I agree with earthpixie. I don't dislike the name, but it leaves no impression on me whatsoever. It just slides off me.

Whereas, names like Robert, Peter, Saul, they are kind of simple and classic but make me pause and think 'oh!'. I also like Richard/Richie. David is unusual too.

What about Oscar - I love that name or Felix or Toby but not Jack every third kid is called Jack at DDs school.

Agree with earthpixie, it's still a very popular name.

I think that Sam and Joe go well with Tom

It's a good name in itself but is still hugely popular and has been for about 12 years. Your son will grow up in a world full of Jacks of a similar age.
