Naming your ds after your Husband

The problem is that ive used all my boys names up-now the only one left that I like is Mark and that happens to be dhs name. He is unhappy about calling ds3 this but cannot come up with any alternatives at all.
I was thinking of calling ds3 Mark Jason as it flows nicely with our surname, has the only name that dh has toyed with (jason) in it and can be shortened to MJ as a nickname.

Now I am worried about the MJ thing, too like mary jane?
Oh the problem that dh wont really go for it but cant offer anything else.
I would b happy with Jason as a first name but everyone wev'e told it too hates it, dh likes it tho and is the name of a hero of his ( Quealy )

Is it naff to name your child after your dh? does it cause problems?

My son is called after his late father. they were both known by different abbreviated versions of it, and it never caused problems when dh was alive.

I'm exceptionally glad we gave him that name and I don't consider it naff at all, as the name goes back many generations to dh's Polish ancestors

I like Mark, not fussed on Jason.

Don't like initials generally, but hey, if you like it, that's what counts.

DS2 is named after his dad, although we use a different short-form.

I don't think it's naff. I do like the name Mark.

really naff, sorry.
Jason is nice though, whats wrong with that, up to you and dh at the end of the day.
