the teen father

Meet Palin's Baby Daddy

Let's make this even scarier when we meet the boyfriend.

elliott · 03/09/2008 15:15

Her statement that Bristol has 'the support of the entire family' sits rather badly with her decision to disappear into a presidential campaign and then possibly to the White House whilst her daughter faces this without her...
I kind of wonder what the family dynamics are really, given the timing of the daughter's conception (just as mum gave birth to a new baby brother) I mean how much time and energy is she likely to have for her family??

casbie · 03/09/2008 14:48

totally weirded out that she might have her perfectly manicured hand on the big red button!

Ashantai · 03/09/2008 14:09

I really wasnt interested at all in the US Presidential campaign, but Sarah Palins life just reads as a soap and i'm hooked!

Its like a glossy Eastenders

MatNanPlus · 02/09/2008 14:43

Ah TW not a watcher

beanieb · 02/09/2008 13:39

Oh - she's 5 months pregnant apparently. Does this woman have other daughters? maybe one of them is the mother of the other child?

beanieb · 02/09/2008 13:33

I have just looked up the laws on Statutory Rape for Alaska - Boy are they confusing!

I think it's awful that this couple might be being coerced into marriage to save her mother's political career!

thumbwitch · 02/09/2008 10:50

no, no, MNP - how can you say that? What about the Fowlers in Eaastenders? Michelle being pregnant by Drity Den and her mum having Martin around the same time?

Obivously Sarah Palin is an Easties afficionado and has based herself on Pauline!

MatNanPlus · 02/09/2008 10:27

So while Sarah was going thru her 5th pregnancy and not showing at all unlike with her previous pregnancies her 16yo daughter was off school for upto 8 months and is now pregnant, due to deliver in late december just 8 months after her mum gave birth a month early?

If this was a soap script it would ber thrown out as to far fetched.

foxytocin · 02/09/2008 01:42

Assemblies of God have a strong fundamentalist christian following. I would run, fast, the other way if she was heading towards me to shake my hand.

nooka · 02/09/2008 00:58

They aren't Catholics, but cited as Assemblies of God/independant Cristians (ie the church they regularly attend is not affiliated with a formal church). She is apparently OK with contraception, but anti sex education and pro abstinence (maybe this is why she has a pregnant teenager). She thinks parents should be able to prevent their kids from having abortions, and that those who have suffered rape or incest should be forced to have babies should they get pregnant. Scary stuff

thumbwitch · 02/09/2008 00:29

If Bristol's baby is due in December and Trig was born in April, then it's a tad unlikely that Trig is Bristol's!

solo · 02/09/2008 00:14

Being Catholic means sexual relations outside of marriage are a no - no never mind no contraception.

MatNanPlus · 01/09/2008 23:34

but he is only 4months so she surely can't be more than 8 weeks gone?

thumbwitch · 01/09/2008 22:34

If Trig is Bristol's baby, being brought up as Sarah's, it doesn't matter how saintly Sarah is for doing it, what matters politically is that she has lied about it and tried to cover up the facts.

And of course it will matter later to Trig.

And Bristol is pg (again - you would think she might have learnt how not to be after the first one?! ALLEGEDLY) Although did I read that they are strict Catholics? In which case contraception would be a no-no.

TheNaughtiestGirlIsaMonitor · 01/09/2008 20:55

Pro life and pro death! I wonder if the democrats have got that retort ready!! Very good!

MatNanPlus · 01/09/2008 20:41

Maybe Trig is Willows baby

FourArms · 01/09/2008 18:32

But if the 17yo is pg now, then that photo above might not show her looking plump because she's had a baby, but because she is pg now.

laweaselmys · 01/09/2008 18:25

The way that statement was worded was so harsh. I feel really bad for Bristol, okay she's a pregnant teenager, it happens, and now she's being used as a tool to prove how good/strict and god-fearing her mother is. I think it's disgusting.

Peapodlovescuddles · 01/09/2008 18:23

Just came on to post about DD expecting! I eagerly anticipate grandchilds name!
