I absolutely love it. Gorgeous, chic, bit posh but not ludicrously pretentious. Feminine but not girly. Quite a strong name. She would be a character.

But I love all those names that my Mother hates I also love Edith, Lois, Margot, Polly, Mabel and Nancy.

Freaky I just read this. mty aunt just sent me loads of family tree reseach and a couple of the 1800s ones were called Dulcie. Another was calld Dulce (nicknamed Dulsie).
