DC2 is going to be named 'Abracadabra' according to DD (2.6)

(as in)

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 27/08/2008 22:31

A friend was named after his older sibs - he is Luke as is Skywalker. Could have been worse..

dizzydixies · 27/08/2008 22:29

pinky or bluey or dora the explorer - not just dora, the full dora explorer title

LunarSea · 27/08/2008 22:27

ds1 (5 at the time) suggested Thomas, Edward, Henry or Toby for ds2. Spot the theme? Actually ds2 did end up being one of those!

Flossish · 27/08/2008 21:34

DS wanted to call DD 'boy baby.' Obviously the only reason we declined was because of a slight issue of confusion over sex it may cause. Other than that it was a lovely choice of name

snickersnack · 27/08/2008 21:31

I think dd's suggested options (she was 2.5 at the time) were Flipflop and Herbert.

TheCheeseAlarm · 27/08/2008 21:28

According to DS1, DS2 was going to be a blonde haired, blue-eyed girl called Risotto Manchester. Fortunately he is a boy!

ThatBigGermanPrison · 27/08/2008 21:26

Tom.

Which is nice, but it was our cat's name.

Nemoandthefishes · 27/08/2008 21:24

Ds choose DD2s name he insisted when I was pg it was his little sister Chloe..we wanted to call her charlotte

QuintessentialShadow · 27/08/2008 21:18

DS1 wanted DS2 to be called Tom.

We chose another three letter name!

poppyknot · 27/08/2008 21:17

I was going to be Doctor Who.

It had just started first time around (that's how old I am ) and my brother was getting over the fact that new baby was a girl (how unfair was that when he already had two sisters??).

Mum and Dad asked him what he wanted to call me and that was his preferred choice.

Luckily sense prevailed.

Our surname is as near the word 'or' as you can get so the combination would have been very alienish!

procrastinatingparent · 27/08/2008 21:14

Car park. No idea what that was about!

DanJARMouse · 27/08/2008 21:09

DD1 wanted to call DS Jessica, Becca, mummy and daddy. Any name she was familiar with!

Needless to say we said erm... no!

mamadoc · 27/08/2008 21:06

No personal experience yet but loved my friend's DS choices for their DS2:

  1. Same name as DS1
  2. Thomas (as in the tank engine)
  3. Penguin!
lulurose · 27/08/2008 21:02

Cinderella or Aurora...

God when will the princess phase end?

frazzledoldbag34 · 27/08/2008 20:59

Sparkle-Twinkle
or
Molly-Beyonce
(DD1 is 7 and thinks these are fab. DD2 is not called either of these!)

Weegiemum · 27/08/2008 18:16

Dd1 thought it was good for a boy or a girl!
