Right, i'm almost due and have finally nailed DH down to 2 name choices. I've done so many polls and i'm not saying there are names which i might prefer (i still like sebastian) but DH is just sooooooo picky that i'm left with 2 options.

Thomas Arthur/Thomas Isaac

Toby Alexander

I know a lot of people that i've told has said Thomas is a bit dull and that might niggle me a bit - DS1 is oliver and there are already 2 in his pre-school. However, i've already had millions of 'toby jug', 'my dog is called toby' etc etc so i'd have to live with that.

Any thoughts?

I love Thomas, I wished I had called ds it. My friend has recently called a baby this but is known as Thom.

I have a definite preference for traditional names, so I'd go for Thomas over Toby (also a couple of Toby Carveries near us, which would make me hesitate!) And you can shorten Thomas to Tom or Tommy but still have the "smart" version, so they can choose as they get older.

I definately prefer Thomas, lovely name.

Thomas/Tom is a great name though
prefer it to Toby

I hope your name doesn't start with a T if you went for THomas Isaac though.....

I like the name Isaac but think I prefer Thomas Arthur. (Do like Sebastian too!)
