Christabel? Or Felicity or Rosamund?

Please humour me through the two week wait.

We've had a longstanding plan to call a DD Felicity, but it alliterates with DS's name, so I don't know if I can get away with it. Can you have Philip and Felicity?

Now my mind is wandering to Christabel, or Rosamund. Opinions?

I also love Hermione but Harry Potter has done for that one.

Any other suggestions gladly received.

* note to anyone who knows me IRL * DH and I are fairly defensive and secretive about names, so just don't let on you've seen this.

I prefer Felicity out of that bunch. Lovely name.

And don't forget, they're not forever going to be known as Phillip and Felicity. They are individuals.

You never know, you could name her Christobel and she could marry Christopher and you'll always regret not calling her Felicity

PinkyDinkyDooToo · 19/08/2008 20:46

Christabel, or Felicity I don't see a problem with that and your DS's name

pointydog · 19/08/2008 20:44

hmm, I'm not keen on any of them.

I like Rosa a lot.

fizzbuzz · 19/08/2008 20:36

I love Christobel, but am ashamed to admit it

Christobel Pankhurst great heroine. I think this is why I like it. It is one of my favourite names, but could never have called dd it.....but don't know why!

Felicity - don't think it's like Philip at all!
If this bump had been a girl then we'd have had a Philippa and a Felicity!

tiredlady · 19/08/2008 20:06

Rosamund, definately

mrsgboring · 19/08/2008 20:00

Oh I'll just have to have a boy in between then. What shall I call him?

Felicity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not sure about Christabel.

ForeverOptimistic · 19/08/2008 19:58

I love Christabel & Felicity but I agree that Felicity & Philip are too similar.

mamabea · 19/08/2008 19:57

Love Felicity

mrsgboring · 19/08/2008 19:57

Ah, thank you, TwoWindyDays, I was thinking more pretty Victoriana than grandiose classical (maybe Christabel isn't as pretty as I thought...?)

Am so happy with Flick and Phil though! Now all I have to do is get pregnant [frustrated] (and have a girl, obviously.)

Antigone
Persephone

I like Flick and Phil as well

Stars22 · 19/08/2008 19:45

Out of the 3 i prefer Felicity.

mrsgboring · 19/08/2008 19:15

Ooo I like Flick and Phil: that is fab.

I love Christabel, but I feel like we might not be able to get away with it. But I do love the connotations, especially Christabel LaMotte (reading Possession made me decide to study English Lit - if I hadn't, I may not have met DH)

Great connotations!

Rosamund

constancereader · 19/08/2008 19:07

Rosamund is nicer than Christobel.
In fact I love it.
Also rate Hermione, at least now everyone can say it.
