Louisa?

Sorry, keep starting these name threads but I do like to have feedback on names.

Louisa for a girl (obviously), what do you think. Has a special meaning as have lovely SIL call Louise and wonderful cousin also called Louise, both very special people to us.

I would probably shorten it to Lulu as a term of endearment.

Lulumama, I live not far from there, off the main road beginning with Lul. Let me know if you are ever venturing down there! You can pop in to mine for a cup of tea!

We have definitely decided we are going for Louisa Hope if we have another girl. So far for a boy we like Gabriel Alexander but that could well change. SIL is over the moon that we are going to have Louisa! She wants me to have a girl now!

bikerunski, was the Village you lived in in North Wales by any chance? When you are saying you are expecting a boy do you mean you know for definite or you think you are?

Lovely, is on my list in case DC is a girl. We are expecting a boy, but just in case. Oddly, our girly middle name was always going to be Hope, as we used to live in a village called that. Like pgwithnumber3, we will find out in 5 weeks.

It's a lovely name, imo. It's a classic name, without being common or anything. But neither does it look as if you are stuck in a timewarp, iykwim

I knew you would approve of the Lulu part! I love Lulu, she would definitely have that as her childhood name.

Mmm, not sure about any of the middle names mentioned but thanks anyway! Already have a Grace Elisabeth so both those names out and a Maya Rose.

I definitely think it needs to be a one syllable middle name, Grace would go perfect but as I said, it is DD1's name.
