my dd1 and dd2 have four letter names, short and sweet

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Flightputsonahat · 31/07/2008 16:06

It is really nice! Especially on an African little girl. Is that an odd thing to say? I think it would be gorgeous.

Flightputsonahat · 31/07/2008 16:04

Oh damn I really like it!

Randy Crawford wasn't all bad!

CurrantBM · 31/07/2008 16:04

You are of course joking?

Oblomov · 31/07/2008 16:03

Why bother with the 'i'.
Just go for Randy slag and be done with it.

Blandmum · 31/07/2008 15:51

How about Voluptua Goodshag?

frazzledoldbag34 · 31/07/2008 15:51

I do hope this was a wind up.
(folds arms and scowls)

frazzledoldbag34 · 31/07/2008 15:49

Honestly, not really?

Good grief, and I thought I had bad taste in names!

Mind you isn't there a celeb with a baby called Randi? (or is that Rudi?) maybe I'm getting mixed up........they both make me think of sha**ing. And therefore are NOT VERY NICE things to call a BABY!

See, you've made me shout!

belgo · 31/07/2008 15:41

It could be a wind up, but unfortunately there are so many awful names around, it's hard to be sure.

RusselBrussel · 31/07/2008 15:32

OP has gone, was this a wind-up?

OurHamsterisevil · 31/07/2008 15:29

Sorry don't like it

zoggs · 31/07/2008 15:10

Ex BF was called Randy - short for Randolph which he never used. It was very embarrassing to introduce him to friends, family etc. Mind you, introducing him as Randolph would have been even more embarrassing.

Blandmum · 31/07/2008 14:26

I've changed my mind. Call her Randi and give her the middle name Bed-warmer. Classy or what??

ChopsTheDuck · 31/07/2008 14:20

drop the d. Rani.

themoon66 · 31/07/2008 14:06

OP has gone by the look of it.

MaryAnnSingleton · 31/07/2008 14:05

no, it's a terrible name..

Blandmum · 31/07/2008 14:04

Custy, I just inhaled my coffee!

Tortington · 31/07/2008 14:03

only if her middle name is tampax

GorgonsGin · 31/07/2008 14:01

surely a joke?! Randi?!

No. Never.

Terrible name (for all the reasons stated already)

expatinscotland · 31/07/2008 13:52

No.

What is it with this trend for giving children dogs' names?

DisenchantedPlusBump · 31/07/2008 13:52

No,please don't!

ThatBigGermanPrison · 31/07/2008 13:52

I think it's a lovely name, and when she graduates from Stripper College, she will hold aloft her nipple tassles in pride, grateful to her parents for giving her inspiration to work in the sex industry by giving her a stripper's name.

themoon66 · 31/07/2008 13:51

Randi Randi Randi

Nope.. no matter how many times I say it, it's still dreadful.

KateF · 31/07/2008 13:47

I really wouldn't. It's an American name which doesn't work well in the UK. Miranda is lovely though.
