Ada is very oldfashioned and Macey is very trendy imho.

Not sure Edie or Ada goes with Macey.

Freya or Fleur or Ruby or Elise might be better.

I think a significant minority of parents just call the baby 'baby' for so long that it then becomes hard to think of a name - so they push the thought away - until you 'have' to have a name and then it's all a bit of a problem! The other reason for not having a name is if the baby is ill and/or very early I suspect some people find it hard to think of a name because of all the fears they have for their child. Of course for others naming an ill child is all the more important. I hope that illness isn't the reason that this little girl hasn't had a name up till now - but if it is - hope she's doing well now.

allgonebellyup · 25/07/2008 09:44

freya grace is what i have planned for my next (imaginary) daughter!!

TwoBigNorks · 25/07/2008 09:43

Ada or Adah May
Ada Louisa
Ada Grace

hmm, lol, I like Ada from your list because its the most unusual and you oldest has an unusual name.

Let us know what you decide!

noddyholder · 25/07/2008 09:43

What have you been calling up until now?

I like Edie, but prefer the full Edith as registered name.

I think Evie-May is vry pretty; my friend's DD is called this.

I prefer Ellie to Ella too.

Freya Grace is lovely, as suggested by fairydust.

I wouldn't have Rose as middle name as it is already your DD1's middle name.

Collision · 25/07/2008 09:27

I dont think it is Stealth!

StealthPolarBear · 25/07/2008 09:26

This has to be a wind up!

sumomum · 25/07/2008 09:25

Rita May is gorgeous. Edie Mae was the name we had choosen for our baby if it had been a girl, still love it.

Collision · 25/07/2008 09:18

Edie Mae

Ava Grace

Ellie May

Neve - no
Ada - no

cannot believe you havent thought about this earlier! and that you would let a bunch of randon (but lovely!) strangers choose your dd's name!

swiftyknickers · 25/07/2008 09:14

rita may

loves it

PeachyBAHons · 25/07/2008 09:10

we have Aunts Edie, Ada, Vida and Ida, all strong names- do think Ada May is lovely

to go with macey rose- ummm.... a botanical middle name? ds4 would have been den Willow. Or Niamh Lilly?

PuppyMonkey · 25/07/2008 09:06

Crikey, hasn't it entered your head to come up with a name you like before now???

EffiePerine · 25/07/2008 09:04

Evelyn Rose (you can shorten to Evie if you want but also good name for an adult)

LilRedWG · 25/07/2008 08:51

Eleanor May

NorthernLurker · 25/07/2008 08:50
