geno, geno, geno... love dexy's song.
don't like auriel

QueenBhannae · 16/07/2008 17:53

Auriel is beautiful.
Geno is naff imo and I have family members called it (italian)

MadBadandDangeroustoKnow · 16/07/2008 17:51

Geno makes me think of Dexy's and Geno Washington (am old enough to remember DMR on TOTP).

Never heard of Auriel as a name so Googled it and learnt that it is a girl's name related to Aurelia (the baby name dictionary says).

Have to say these choices would be too bold for me, but only you can judge!

Dragonbutter · 16/07/2008 17:49

auriel is a bit too close to areola in my mind.

BellaBunting · 16/07/2008 17:44

PMSL at your replies!!!

Ah, but the Dexy's song was in tribute to Geno Washington and I believe Auriel is an archangel (not that either of these facts is why I like the names!!!!)

Auriel - french and feminine sounding
Geno - quite cool but I'm sure most will assume Italian Gino (as in "Gino oh Gino Ginelli|")

  1. Sounds like a girl's name or a washing powder
  2. Dexy's Midnight Runners song.

I'm not sure that there are words in the English language harsh enough to describe my views! They both sound like soap powders.
