Name for girl twin which doesn't end in vowel or start with E or F!

It's very difficult finding a girl's name that fits with our surname which starts with E and ends with son so out so anything like Madison. I've discovered that anything with a vowel or y on the end sounds rubbish e.g. Lily, Anna.

I like Iris and Maeve, but dp doesn't. We've only agreed I think on Erin and Elise but don't want another E name as ds2's starts with E and I don't think it sounds that great with our surname. DS1's name starts with F and we've already chosen boy twin's name starting with F so don't want another.

I have read through 14,000 name book already and am wondering if we'll have a name for her esp if they arrive early. Any ideas given my very restrictive request?? Pretty please? I had already posted on here about celtic names for them both but had to give that up as dp didn't like anything I did!

I am constantly surprised at how many names you all come up with! Skye is one of my favourites so far. Beatrice is beautiful but I know several already.

My dt boy's name is to be Felix although I think we should have a backup in case it doesn't suit.

Over the Hill, seems a bit radical to change dp's name and the older ds's just so we can have Erin! The older ds's have my surname as their middle name already, I wasn't intending on changing my name when we eventually got married (engaged 9 years now!). I really like my surname being part of theirs but we don't use it double barrelled, it's just a middle name that the twins will have too.

what is the 'F' name you have chosen for your b-twin? It might give inspiration.

Sorry, you said that you both agreed on Erin and Elise, but I'd not realised that they & only two other names were the only ones that your dh could bring himself to consider. Another piece of lateral thinking: perhaps you should go for one of the E names if you both like them - and change your surname - eg to your maiden name??? I know a couple who changed to an old family name before their third child was born, although the parents both keep their original names for work purposes.

Violet is one of my faves that he doesn't like (sob). Megan is great too but my dsis's name!

I listed the ones he liked before - but Harriet, Leia, Erin & Elise. Um, that's it I think. Not much room to manoevre is there?

So many pretty names here, I shall show him the list again today! All of the Poppy, Daisy, Lily etc names just don't sound good with our surname unfortunately.
