Opinions Needed on Our Name List (Boys and Girls)

Not keen on Everly, Sicily or Arlo only cos I like names that are real names iyswim.

If you like Juliet, what about Julita? I love Pia and Perla and also Pius/Cassius/Roman/Juno/Nico/Inigo for a boy.

There is a bit of a disconnect between the first and middle names. The first names seem more European and the middle seem American (not an insult, as I am American).

Not keen on Sicily, but Cecily is great.
Isla and Eva are lovely. Beatrice is a nice middle name with these firsts.

Love Matteo, Alessandro and Luca, but they don't appear to go with the middle names at all.

antonio is a good name as can be shortened to toni
or changed to antonia(toni)/
antoinetta/
antonella(ella) for girl.

Pia would lead to lots of teasing? - Mmm not sure about that; depends what sort of school she'd end up in, I guess.

Eva is very popular/common now? - no - but it is a very pretty, timeless sort of name

Luca is overused? No - not in the circles I move in anyway; have met several Lukes and a couple Lucases (is that the plural?!!) but never a Luca.

Milo is a tweenie? Yes he is - but aso what!!! I liked Bella for a dd; we didn't use it but not because of Tweenie links!

I should read properly-I missed the fact that your DH was Italian! In that case I take back what I said about pretentious for the Italian boy's names. Still dislike Austin, Jasper and Hudson and the girl's names.

it's tradition to name first girl or boy of all granchildren after their grandparents. 2nd boy/girls after their father/mother.

well, thats perhaps just in the central italy region.

But baby is half Italian with an Italian surname so what's the problem?

I dislike them all! Eva Juliet is the only girls one that I would find passable. I agree with Custardo about the boys ones-pretentious -unless they happen to be family names. Henry is nice.(I think that Hudson was a butler in a TV series.)

Not keen on Pia (too close to urinate!), Sicily (this is an island not a baby's name to me), Everly (just not very girly...I keep thinking of the Everly Brothers), Harper is a boy's name and Beatrix is not Italian enough.

Juliet Perla (very pretty!) or Eva Juliet

Like most of them. Particularly the more unusual ones as I like to think that children will be individual and not have the same name as 4 other kids in their class.

I am not keen on Pia, Sicily, Everley, Harper or Perla. Juliet ad Beatrix are ok. Not sure Juliet works with Isla. I actually prefer Eve and Evie to Eva.
