Or is 'Ichabod' an acceptable name for fortchcoming son?

We want a Jewish/Hebrew name to go with surname so alternatives welcome, but not Joel/Jacob/Ethan/Caleb etc.

Ichabod just appeals! But why?

LOL at HonoriaGlossop...that had crossed my mind!

Malachi is lovely, minou, I often mull it over but then others tell me I being ridiculous. Ezra also cool actually.

I know Sleepy Hollow not great precedent of course.

'Frank' is still out in front I think then - not Hebrew I know but goes great with surname.

Thanks chaps.

ooh, how lovely! At school he can be 'Icky' for short! How pleased he will be! How he will laugh along with his schoolchums!

Crikey o'reilly
Dont. Do. It.
Ichabod is too far for even me.
Malachi's a good'un, though.

erm have you seen Sleepy Hollow?

Makes me think of Dr Suess "Ichabod is itchy". It's a bit way out there! But then dd would have been Ezra if she hadn't been a girl.
