thequietone · 10/07/2008 14:23

India - if DS2 was going to be a DD1 then that would have been her name.

pedilia · 10/07/2008 14:23

DD3 is Amber and DD4 was very nearly India (oh is fijian indian) but we went for Layla instead

ilovemydog · 08/07/2008 21:48

suwoo · 08/07/2008 21:44

Collision, one of my best friends had a Nell in February, she's gorgeous

kittywise · 07/07/2008 22:56

neither

Mavornia · 07/07/2008 22:55

I like Amber best

Have you thought about Amadea? I love it - Amadeus is a bit too much for a boy but I think Amadea works beautifully for a girl

Notquitegrownup · 07/07/2008 22:20

Rustybear, what a very gorgeous daughter you have!

I love the name Amber.

RustyBear · 07/07/2008 22:19

There are a lot of Ambers around DD's age (18) because Simon Le Bon's daughter was born around then (I didn't know that when I named DD or I might have thought again)

luckylady74 · 07/07/2008 22:14

Amber is beautiful, but it was very popular in the very rough school I taught in - not that that should bother you but it might. India is posh or trendy southern ime.

The window cleaner reminded me today that I'd named dd after a transvestite in a song - it really doesn't matter in the end what we all think- which do you like best?

Madlentileater · 07/07/2008 22:13

have just asked DD2 (she is an Amber!)-she says both names are good, but they don't make mugs etc with India on yet (A Good Thing)also some fictional Ambers have been bratty. But she likes it (thank god!)
I think India a bit odd, myself.

RustyBear · 07/07/2008 22:12

DD is Amber - you can see from my profile pics whether you think it suits her

umberella · 07/07/2008 22:12

I like them! not chavvy imo.

suwoo · 07/07/2008 22:11

Sorry, neither. I know that doesn't help if you have narrowed it down to those two, but they are both perceived by me as chavvy.

AbbeyA · 07/07/2008 22:07

I wouldn't choose either but they are both quite nice, I don't have a preference.

CristinaTheAstonishing · 07/07/2008 21:10

Malory, why are you cross with Johnnie? What's he done wrong this season?

Hulababy · 07/07/2008 20:59

I realy like the name India.

Was going to be DD's middle name. Still not sure whilst I was out of it following my c secton that resulted in it being changed TBH.
