Do you like Francesco? Any associations? Francesca (the feminine version) seems to be more popular, which has always confused me because they're nearly the same name.

I like it. I know a Francisco known as Cisco and it suits but - but he does also have Latin American heritage so it isn't a particularly unusual name for him.

Nice but I prefer
Francis, Friso, Cisco

Chamallo · 30/07/2026 00:01

I prefer Francisco but the Franco connection would put me off. Also love Santiago.

Reminds me of the hairdressing chain in the midlands

I was about to say it’s the name of my hairdressers 😆

I once knew a Sam Francesco. I don’t know what his parents were thinking… not the same but I think the city thing would come up.

I’d assume nn would be Frank or Frankie which are both cute on a boy. I like the name Francesco.

Helenbelena · 29/07/2026 18:12

Yes, it’s fine.

I like it but find Francisco easier to say but that might be because I know people with it.
francesco also sounds Italian but Francisco Spanish so depends on culture I guess.
